Reissuing a virtual card should be used in cases of fraud or a lost card. This closes the cardholder's current card and issues them a card with new card details, expiration, last4, and pin.
The card ID and external ID will not change, funds will stay in the cardholder's account and do not need to be transferred to the new card, and the new card will automatically appear in the cardholder's GiveCard platform account.
